Mission: Starbase Shoreleave
Location: Somewhere in the DQ
Timeline: Mission Day 1 at 0000

Baxter groaned as the shuttle jolted slightly before the power cut out completely. "By the gods...what now?!" He asked, pushing himself to his feet and wandering to the rear of the shuttle. Normally there'd be 2 more seats on each side of the rear area, whhich would fold down into a bed on each side, but he'd opted not to include them in his franken-shuttle.

Getting down on his knees, he slid a panel to the side to expose the inner workings of the shuttle, and he frowned. He had very little equipment with him, a majority of what they had was destroyed in the crash, and what little salvaged repair gear they'd found, Baxter left on Teivus VI. Without anything to do a diagnostic with, he wasn't sure what was wrong, but he knew he could rig up a temporary power source, but it wouldn't provide propulsion.

A little over an hour later, Baxter stared at the text-only distress call he was about to send out. He didn't know how long it'd be till someone found it, if they ever found it, but it was his only shot.
